Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst - Capital Markets

Looking for a Business Analyst from Capital Markets domain and with an IT background.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include collaborating with Business users and IT to capture and document business requirements across applications supported by Colibri (in-house asset creation tool), proposing and driving strategic/innovative enhancements related to Asset Creation areas covering Fund Administration & Custody processes primarily. Designing test scenarios and running UATs and NRTs in conjunction with the stakeholders, educating stakeholders using demos/workshops are other key responsibilities.

Primary responsibilities

- Collaborate with Business users and document the Business requirements (BRD)

- Design test scenarios/cases and ensure RTM (Requirements Traceability)

- Collaborate with developers to review the FRDs and validate solution implementation

- Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Non-Regression Test (NRT)

- Diagnose and troubleshoot system to resolve defects

- Project management responsibilities to plan and manage the schedule, project deliverables and to manage the stakeholders

- Communicating with Global operations, IT & SMEs

- Be an SME in areas of Asset creation and mentor/train less experienced resources in the team.

- Should have proven experience in business analysis/Development for any of the middle office and back office applications used in asset and fund administration domain

- Should understand the lifecycle for various listed and OTC asset types

- Act as an individual contributor, SME and mentor the team of Business Analysts in problem resolution / building solution

Job requirements

Educational qualification : Post Graduation with specialization in Finance (or) Engineering degree with considerate experience as an IT BA

Total years of experience : 4 - 8 years

Relevant years of experience : 3+ years
