Business Analyst - SAP BI - Banking

JD: Business Analyst Banking IT Global Services, Pune.

- Should have good functional understanding of a few domain specific areas related to banking. Analytics Experience in Operational Risk would be preferred

- Should have a good understanding of BI concepts covering Dashboards, KPIs cubes etc.

- Will be responsible for extensive operational process study and will conduct detailed analysis of Banking processes to include workflow design review, time and motion study, historical data, benchmarking and process improvements.

- Should have understanding of six sigma tools (mini tab, Annova etc.)

- Should have a understanding of BI tools such as SAP BO, Tableau,

- Should have a good understanding of Reporting tools such as IBM Cognos, Actuate, BIRT etc.

- Should have a knowledge on data visualization.

- Requires proficiency in MS Excel and Visio.

Knowledge of specific tools will be highly preferable:

- Histograms (Specific control limits)

- SAS tools

- Normal Probability Plots (min - max value)

- Scatter Diagram (cause / effect)

- Pivot Tables

- Correlation Effects between tow variables

- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with senior level management.

- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience needed.

- Roles and Responsibilities but not limited to

- Responds to requests for specific customized reports and adhoc analysis.

- Develop and deploy consulting solutions to meet client's data, reporting and analytical needs.

- Interprets results, trends, fluctuations or anomalies in results, reacts to determine root cause and recommends solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, or maximize operational efficiency/quality.

- Presents results of analysis and recommendations to senior management independently
