Position/Title : Business Analyst - Media domain mainly in Cable Communications

Detailed job description :

- Overall Experience in IT should be between 6 to 10 years.

- Good work experience in consulting services engagements or business environments in Media Domain

- Should have Good experience in performing Business and Data Analysis work on Media domain especially on Cable communications.

- Ability to independently conduct workshops, gather business requirements and drive delivery of the requirements coordinating with the IT team.

- Transform client business requirements, use cases, processes and objectives to IT needs

- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements

- Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities

- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members

- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a - can-do- attitude - adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

- Open to travel (25-50%)

Mandatory skills :

- Overall 6 to 8 Years of Functional Consulting experience in Media domain mainly in Cable Communications.

- Overall 2 to 4 years of Business Analysis on Media domain on Big Data environment

- Very Strong work experience in MS Excel, creation of Macros and performing various Business analysis using excel

- Hands on experience in SQL for performing the Data analysis on Hive in Big Data Environment.

- Should be customer facing, well versed in Conducting workshops with Business users.

- Should be able to Functionally lead and drive the Solution delivery from client location.

- Should be able to Create Test Scenarios and Cases for Media Business Processes.

- Well versed in SDLC / Agile mode of delivery and should be able to Guide Developers on Test Case creations and planning for the System Integration testing and the User Acceptance Testing.

Nice to have :

- Functional & Working knowledge of the BI visualization Tool Tableau.

- Hands on experience in Hive SQL.
