Business Analyst - IFRS Reporting - BFSI

Job description :

- An understanding of the principles of credit risk and impairment

- Good understanding of Wholesale and Retail data

- Understanding the Data Requirements - work with the model development team.

- Data Analysis and Data Sourcing (identify sources, gaps, quality)

- Proficient in interrogating databases via SQL queries

- Ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets, data storage, ETL and data modeling

- An understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and testing principles

- An appreciation of systems and data architectures

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)

- VBA experience (desirable)

- Big Data tools/ Platfora (desirable)

- Proficient dealing with manual data file processing, systems interface data manipulation

Experience Required :

- Agile delivery experience

- Financial Services test experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements

- Experience in testing, driven by IT systems implementation or enhancement, across a large organization

- Experience of working in a large banking organization preferred
