We have an urgent opening with our client in Pune.  Job Description:  The Business Analyst will be part of a Change team focused on delivering strategic financial accounting solutions to a Global audience within the Investment Banking [IB] space. This team is engaged across projects under multiple strategic initiatives, primarily:  - Enabling deployment of products across regions  - Implementation of strategic front-to-back (including Finance) infrastructure  - The focus of the team in the translation of trades & cash records into General Ledger postings across IB products.  In this role, the Business Analyst will be required to:  - Understand business drivers, requirements and processes of FA/PC/Capital/Ops users in relation to posting to the General Ledger  - Translate business requirements into functional requirements (posting rules and associated static), document in clear, concise and comprehensive manner, and articulate to IT teams for their understanding  - Perform data analysis on Production data to assess impact of business requirements on existing data flows  - Perform detailed data analysis to assess and address data completeness and data sourcing gaps within the posting platform  - Support project teams during the definition of testing requirements for posting  - Perform Functional Testing, identify and analyze defects, and work with IT teams in their resolution  - Facilitate User Acceptance Testing for FA/PC/Capital/Ops users, analyze defects raised and work with FA/PC/Capital/Ops users and IT teams   - Collaborate and align with FA/PC/Capital/Ops users and IT teams to deliver project outputs and achieve project objectives;   - Contribute and attend working group meeting, business requirement gathering workshops and UAT status update meetings with FA/PC/Capital/Ops users and IT teams   - Build and maintain good working relationships with key FA/PC/Capital/Ops users and IT teams at the working level  - Provide prompt and concise status updates to project managers, including accurate progress updates and escalation of risks, issues and dependencies in respective areas of responsibilities  - Support project managers in defining project plans, developing project artifacts and managing stakeholders   - Coordinate with Integrated Release teams to ensure changes are complete in the Integrated Environment; support creation of Production Readiness  Requirements:  - At least 5+ years work experience in either of or a combination of the following; (i) Financial Services industry, (ii) Audit & Advisory Services industry  - At least 2+ years work experience in executing or working in system and process change projects, in the functions of Financial Accounting  - Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills and stakeholder management skills  - Strong, detailed analysis skills across business processes and system functionalities  - Undergraduate degree in Accountancy, Business or Commerce  - Grade in Information management or Information Technology  - Knowledge of USGAAP and/or IFRS accounting  - Experience in implementing or using posting solutions in the Financial Services industry  ADDITIONAL RELEVANT EXPERIENCE OR CAPABILITIES  - Qualified Accountant/ MBA in finance or any equivalent qualification from a premier institute.  - Experience in a line Financial Accounting or Change role-5 to 7 years of relevant exp.  - Experience in process change management and benefit realization  In case you wish to explore this opportunity, please feel free to call me on 020-65100881.  Reema Maheshwari Founder & Chief Consultant Credence HR Services LL- 020-65100881 Call: 9823243381 LinkedIn: in.linkedin.com/in/reemamaheshwari/ Visit us : www.credencehrservices.com
