BuildTraders - Procurement Manager

Salary offered: 5 - 10 LPA

This role offer a challenging job by a fast growing eCommerce company in the construction domain founded by IIT alumni.

Locations : Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

- Source various materials of the different categories related to the construction industry.

- Pre-Qualify the supplier and manufacture base before sourcing

- Lead the entire sourcing initiatives. This involves onboarding national level manufacturers, distributors and local manufacturers for building materials

- Negotiate with them to obtain competitive prices to improve the margins

- Take complete responsible for the sourcing of all the materials for the company

- Onboard suppliers, distributors and manufacturers of different category

- Manage suppliers, distributors and manufacturers relationships and monitor service levels

- Evaluate responses and decide upon the pricing to obtain optimal terms and conditions from suppliers, distributors and manufacturers

- Renegotiate existing supply, service and pricing arrangements

Skills Required:

- Ready to lead the complete procurement initiative

- 2 years of experience in procurement in the relevant industry

- Strong Collaboration Skills, Positive Attitude, High Energy

- Strong ability to build relationships and networks at multiple leadership levels

- Strong leadership, analytical and negotiation skills

- People management skills so as to manage diverse teams to get the desired outcome

- Ability to be resourceful and entrepreneurial in the face of uncertainty

- Proficiency in Kannada and Tamil will be preferred

Experience: 2+ years of Procurement Experience is must
