EXECUTIVE HIRING is looking for BRAND MANAGER for a MNC Consumer Major at MUMBAI.

REPORTING

Position reports to the Marketing Manager.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Graduate + MBA from Tier I Inst. (2007 / 2008 BATCH)

The candidate can be from either of two sets of companies

- Traditional FMCG companies where the candidate has had exposure to the core tenets of marketing including segmentation, positioning, creative development and execution, management of media etc.

- The other type of company could be much more of a lifestyle company

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- Manage the performance and strategy of the brand through development and flawless implementation of the brand’s brand plan and ruthless focus on the brand’s key growth drivers.

CONTEXT / SCOPE OF THE POSITION

- It is imperative, that the incumbent has a very good understanding of sales and commercial processes, in order to be able to visualize how marketing led initiatives will be executed on ground.

- The incumbent will have to encourage and incentivize positive WOM to ensure dispersion of promise and message.

- The incumbent will need to understand the complexities and impact of differing taxation structures and logistics costs on the P&L

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Responsible for communication with Trade marketing and field sales and marketing resources in order to gain activation of brand activity and alignment of field activity to strategic priorities

- Deliver the brand’s objectives by managing the brand’s Profit & Loss and brand health key performance indicators and by flawlessly implementing all key initiatives in time and in line with budget. Manage the brands total A&P budget.

- Improve productivity by measuring & evaluating all own activities, implementing drawn concrete learning’s. Proactive follow-up of logistic, administrative and financial processes.

- Develops powerful strategic recommendations; Seeks opportunities to actively share search and spin growth drivers. Track brand Performance.
