Product Sales Specialist (Only DU pass outs can apply)  About Us:   - Boston Analytics (http://www.bostonanalytics.com/) is a strategy consulting and data sciences firm  - We are trusted advisors to our clients and work closely with them on a range of engagements across geographies (specialization in emerging markets) and industries (focus on financial services, consumer goods, technology and diversified industrial)  - Our consulting engagements range from market sizing to entry and growth strategy, competitive and market intelligence support to M&A support - where we use secondary research, in-depth primary research and advanced data analytics tools and techniques to provide fact-based, insightful analysis to our clients, almost all of whom are large, International companies or respected consulting, investment banking and private equity firms  - A couple of years ago, we set out to simplify the way people accessed, analyzed and visualized financial data, company data and people data we now also create products that automate knowledge work  Location :  - This opening is for our office in Gurgaon, India.  Primary Responsibilities :  - Generate sales activity for products and/or consulting services  - Achieve meeting targets by prospecting new customers (hunting) through email, phone-based and other outreach campaigns  - Explore sales opportunities with existing client and prospect base (farming)  - Manage meeting schedules, agenda and preparatory support for sales team  Job Requirements :  Must have :   - Excellent and demonstrable verbal and written communication skills  - Minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 2 years of full-time work experience  - Good educational background and strong grades from school, graduation/PG  - Willingness to work hard in an entrepreneurial set-up  Good to have experience in :  - Selling products or services to a US/ European client base, OR a strong financial research and accounting background, OR experience in research or consulting sales/ delivery  - Lead generation and cold calling in US/ Europe  - Secondary research and knowledge of databases (i.e. LinkedIn, Hoovers etc.)  - Knowledge of one of more industries (financial services, consumer goods, technology and diversified industrials)
