BlackSoil - Credit Officer - Retail Division

We need proactive, Motivated and confident professionals, 0-4 years of experience with Banks/ NBFCs or other such financial institutions. Work will primarily revolves around the group's NBFC aim (Retail Division)

Role Details:

1. Preparing Disbursement checklists to check for the credibility of the original loan documents

2. Ensure that borrower has complied with all requisite documents such as duly filled application form, KYC documents etc. of the borrower are in place

3. Analyzing parameters like Borrower's Income, credentials, other loans etc. to finalize the loan amount eligibility

4. Preparing important financial ratios like LTV, LCR, IIR, PCRI to keep the parameters within limits while sanctioning the Loan

5. Participate in deal review and provide credit assessment to investment committee as the case may be responsible for portfolio quality

6. Provide regular review and analysis of the portfolio trends

7. Drive usage of data analytics for automated credit decisions for retail lending products

8. Fraud risk and control

9. Valuation of collateral assets to ensure adequacy of security coverage

10. Work in conjunction with Compliance to ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines

11. Work in conjunction with Legal to ensure that all loan documents remain up to date and ensure perfection of security interests

Relevant Experience:

1. Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant OR MBA Finance or equivalent

2. Should have minimum of 1-2 years experience with a bank or NBFC as Credit officer / approver

3. A strong knowledge of commercial lending products as a coverage or relationship banker would be an added advantage

4. Should have strong communication and leadership skills to interface with key business stakeholders as well as external regulators

5. Business judgment including both Credit & Business risk assessments

6. Persistence and Strong Influencing skills

7. Ability to work and lead a team
