Deputy Manager - HR ( Talent Acquisition)   Biocon- Bengaluru Area, India   Job Description  Job Purpose:-   This role would primarily be focused in ‘Talent Acquisition’ space and will play a vital role in Biocon’s goal to identify and hire the best Senior Management talent in the niche’ Biotech Sector. This position is a great opportunity for a creative and motivated individual looking to make a direct impact on the hiring and selection process, on-boarding and orientation process.   Key Responsibilities:   A. Networking   1. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Biocon’s hiring managers to develop a thorough understanding of the job requirements and use that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.   2. Coordinate around the 'Manpower Planning' activity for the assigned departments.   3. Create and foster relationships with premier campuses schools to attract and recruit candidates.   B. Recruitment   1. Write complete and detailed ‘Job Descriptions’ ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements. Review job descriptions with hiring managers.   2. Create job postings for all campaigns (social media online, print, Walk-Ins).   3. Must be adept at leveraging online and social media recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates.   4. Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.   5. Organize, coordinate, plan and document recruiting events, including Walk-Ins and Job Fairs.   6. Help in augmenting BRAND BIOCON by participating in Talent Conclaves, Symposiums etc.   C. Interviewing & Selection   1. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.   2. Pre-screen first and then interview all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies. Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, job skills and competencies.   3. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position. Prepare candidates for interviewing with Biocon and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business direction, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.  Desired Skills & Experience  Educational Qualification:-   Qualification: Bachelor’s in life sciences with a MBA or a Masters in any life sciences discipline from a Premier Institution is desired.   Specialization: Human Resources & Certifications in Recruitments will be an added advantage.   Work - Experience:   1. Must have at least 5+ years of work experience in recruitments for a pharmaceutical or biotechnological company. Must be adept at International Hires.   2. Must have worked on senior mandates and should be well networked in the industry.   3. Experience in all full life cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends in the industry, relationship management, and due diligence.   4. Experience with HR Information Systems is required. Typically like SAP, Oracle, etc.   5. Should be experienced in applying the appropriate recruitment methodology where required. Be proactive in exploring new sources of research for developing applicant pool by means of the internet, social media and other on-line capabilities.   Technical/Functional Skills:   1. Demonstrate ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions like senior mandates, which includes mandates International Hiring.   2. Must be very good at pre-screening candidates, interviewing and selection techniques.   3. Must be good at industry – mapping for mandates where skills and competencies are relatively few.   4. Must be adept with all mediums of recruitments – job portals, social media, Walk-Ins, Job Fairs, Campus Connect Programs, networking etc.   Behavioral/Managerial skills:   1.
