BI Architect/Program Manager - Analytics Firm

We are looking for a BI Architect or Program Manager for an analytics organization in Kolkata

Designation: BI Architect

Experience: 12-15 years

Location: Kolkata

Brief JD would be as follows:

- Engineer from a reputed college, with 15-16 years of experience in designing BI solutions

- Should have created BI solutions based on MS BI technologies

- should have excellent technical capabilities, with ability and willingness to "dive into" code if required

- Should have excellent communication skills, and be adept at requirements analysis, architecture and design of software, especially in an Microsoft environment

- Should have managed large teams, with mix of onsite and offshore members

- Certification in MS technologies will be a plus

- Experience in healthcare domain will be a plus

- Should have substantial experience in dealing with US-based clients

- Ideal candidate would have a valid B1 visa, and should be willing to visit the US about once a quarter

The client is the Informatics division of one of the largest healthcare organizations in the US

Selected candidate will be responsible for:

- Requirements Analysis, architecture and delivery of BI product for the health insurance domain envisaged by our client

- In addition to building the new product mentioned above, managing maintenance and enhancements of about 6-7 different BI applications used internally by the client, as well as exposed to end-customers

- Managing a team of about 20 members (mostly offshore) adhering to client delivery processes, for the above 2 tasks

- Ideal candidate is expected to proactively suggest improvements to existing application architecture and design, so as to improve overall BI delivery.
