About the Role

The successful candidate will be a self-driven individual with team and stakeholder management experience. The candidate will lead the middle and back office function engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to on-board new clients, streamline processes and improve operational efficiency

Responsibilities :

- Monitor and reconcile trade flows on existing client portfolios, and set up new client portfolios as and when they are on-boarded.

- Ensure that portfolio management systems and risk management systems are up to date with latest and accurate information.

- Achieve scalability of operations via automation of daily/weekly/monthly processes while simultaneously reducing operational risk.

- Lead the streamlining and documentation of processes and procedures with the aim of achieving operational excellence

- Decompose and analyze PnL and Risk for financial and non-financial assets via multi-factor attribution models, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.

- Ensure the all portfolios meet risk management criteria and limits

- Run trade capture, booking and reconciliation for live client portfolios and investment funds.

- Drive implementation and production of daily/weekly/monthly risk and performance reports and run plausibility checks to validate output.

- Ad hoc tasks (such as operational tasks, internal documentation tasks and preparation of marketing materials)

- Grow and manage a team of analysts supporting the Middle and Back Office function

- Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders

Skills/Experience

- Prior relevant experience in an IB middle office, or buy side setup

- Experience in trade booking, trade reconciliation and maintenance, and risk reporting across listed and OTC products.

- Working experience on portfolio accounting and risk management systems.

- Understanding of financial markets products, their valuation, as well as their underlying risk drivers.

- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (VBA would be a plus)

- Prior experience at creating performance, risk,MIS dashboards

- Must have a keen eye for detail and an affinity towards processes and procedures

- Experience on process efficiency improvement

- Knowledge on Quality, LEAN and Six sigma would be a plus

- Proven experience at managing a team/leading projects

- Experience toward client engagement, stake holder management, ability to manage business growth

- Excellent communication skills

Qualifications :

MBA from Top Tier Colleges/CA / (FRM would be a plus)
