WHO YOU ARE :   1) Responsible for Procurement of Blue Collar Materials and Services ( related to factory operations) including Project Equipments, MRO Items and production consumables required for various Bayer Sites Like Vapi, Himmatnagar Site. Category covers various Engineering items like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Laboratory, Instrumentations etc.  2) Exploring best possible saving opportunities and generating commercial benefits for the organization.  3) Preparing and implementing Sourcing Strategies for key spend categories to capture savings.  4) Evaluation & Development of alternate Vendors for key spend / critical spend in order to explore best savings opportunities or to improve supply security.  5) Development of Best in Class Vendor to enhance Bayer standards in terms of Safety and Quality.  6) Improving Automation of Procurement Processes (Specifically for Procurement of MRO Items).  7) Ensuring Timely support to internal stack holder for availability of material for timely completion of Project or for ensuring no Production loss.  8) Motivating and Developing direct reportee in order to achieve KPIs of functions and meeting key expectation of internal stack holders.  9) Ensures procurement activities compliance to policy & group and subgroup regulations.  10) Lead, manage and develop effective professional working relationships with key strategic internal stakeholders to maximize the long term benefits for the organization.  WHO YOU ARE :  1) B.E.
