Job Title : Assistant Vice President Resourcing   Number of Direct Reports : 3-5  Overall Job Purpose :   This position will be responsible for delivering high quality professional and executive-level candidates across line of businesses and operating locations in India and advances the brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.  This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, prospective candidates, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required.  Key Accountabilities :   - Confer with senior leadership across all operating line of businesses & locations to identify their manpower requirements  - Maintain a consistent visibility of key talent gaps and work towards filling them in a timely manner without any notional and actual loss to the organisation   - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, vendors and other operating teams to create a healthy partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility for the recruitment department as a whole.  - Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.   - Design, build and implement hiring methodology at par with the industry benchmark.  - Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, expressing ideas & its implementation to achieve best in class new hire satisfaction scores during the end to end recruitment process including their on boarding.  - Develops & maintain an effective pipeline of key potential leadership talent through industry mapping and intelligence for immediate & future anticipated requirement.  - Visits all hiring-manager at periodic intervals to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to attract the right candidates and leverage him to the given opportunity.   - Works with and/or directs the efforts of a Recruiting Coordinator   - Accountable for a smooth transition of all recruits including all necessary documentation up to the stage of their on boarding & handing over to the reporting manager  Controls and Compliance:  - Ensure adherence to and compliance with governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies.  - Ensure risk identification and mitigation in line with group policies.  - Complete and adhere to all necessary documentation as per the prescribed process   Person Specification :   Competencies & Proficiency Levels :   - Business Process Management : Advanced  - Develop customer (internal/ external) orientation: Intermediate  - Relationship Management : Advanced  - Financial Services Knowledge : Intermediate  - Barclays Knowledge: Intermediate  - Flexibility & Adaptability: Advanced  - Innovative Approach: Intermediate  - Teamwork: Advanced  - Result Orientation: Intermediate  - Problem Solving: Intermediate  - Decision Making:Intermediate  - Verbal Communication : Advanced  - Written Communication : Advanced  - Business Performance Management : Beginner  - Quality Orientation : Intermediate  Skills & Knowledge :   - Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions  - Ability to present new recruiting concepts to executive leadership  - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately  - Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.  - An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.  - Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required  - Self starter, organized, self disciplined and able to work with minimum supervision.  Experience:  - 8-10 years of total work experience, out of which at least 4-5 years of focus on managing the full lifecycle of leadership hiring (B5 & above bands)  - Experience in liaising with cross cultural teams across geographies will be an added advantage.  - Experience in creatively sourcing without being dependent on job boards and recruitment agencies.
