The candidate will be the go-to person for expert opinion on any of the topics on personal finance, BFSI industry and general economic and financial trends in the industry.   - The candidate will be expected to give well researched responses to personal finance queries from press reporters/ writers, consumers and partners.   - The candidate should be able to independently fact-check and give a response to any personal finance query.   - He/she should be able to put together recommended investment plans, saving plans, insurance recommendations, financial planning advice, tax saving recommendations, etc. for a cohort of consumers- basis a certain demographic/salary/life-stage profile.   - This would be used as key input for articles/blogs by the creative writers of the content team.   - The candidate will be a key member of the content and marketing teams.  - She/He will provide the awesome-sauce and necessary financial acumen to make financial decisions easier for a whole host of consumers in India.   Key Responsibilities :  - Generate expert opinion from a personal finance angle on various topics related to BFSI industry, especially the products BankBazaar deals with, as and when needed  - Respond to queries on various BFSI topics by providing expert opinion from a position of authority on the subject  - Fact-check articles & other content formats as required for data accuracy and provide the right data and/or links to source of credible information  - Be the go-to person for any information or opinion requirement on loans, credit cards, insurance, investments, tax planning, money management, etc.  - Generate ideas for features and participate in editorial meetings  - Keep abreast of any changes in Market/Compliance/Regulatory processes/norms  - Suggest briefs from time to time for print / online / blog articles by demonstrating understanding of the changes and events taking place in the BFSI industry and by relating them to the impact on personal finance  - Other content generation and expert view formulation responsibilities as assigned from time to time  Competencies :   - Demonstrate superior personal finance knowledge derived from worked in the BFSI industry  - Should be able to issue responses to topical queries with high degree of domain knowledge expertise in personal finance on topics such as loans, credit cards, insurance, investments, tax planning, money management, etc. and infrequently on macro-economic topics like inflation, bank credit, job growth, RBI policy, Union Budget, GDP, etc.  - 5 -10 years of domain expertise in the personal finance industry mandatory - in roles either directly consulting consumers on personal finance or writing about the BFSI industry  - Certified Financial Planner preferable  - Ability to break down financial concepts into simple language that a layman can understand  - Good, clear communication skills are desirable
