Baker Tilly DHC - Assistant Manager - M&A Tax - Corporate Finance Advisory Services

- Should have worked in direct tax and regulatory services in any consulting firm

- Working knowledge and experience in M&A deals i.e. corporate group restructuring, acquisitions, divestitures, tax due diligences, private equity deals, outbound acquisitions/deals, etc. (- M&A- )

- Hands-on knowledge of tax and regulatory framework surrounding M&A - corporate law, income tax,, tax treaties with countries, SEBI, FEMA, Stamp Duty, Competition Commission of India ( CCI ) Act & Regulations, NBFC regulations, etc.

- Clear and practical thought process on objectives in deal structuring and M&A

- Broad experience should involve in drafting / reviewing concept presentations, schemes of arrangement/amalgamation, steady project management of High Court (now NCLT) process involving High Court (now NCLT) and lawyers, SEBI interface for NOC/observation letter, CCI approval wherever required, RD, RoC, OL, Stamp duty adjudication, etc.

- Regular updation of happenings in M&A field i.e. reading articles, being abreast of latest regulatory developments in the field and their impact/potential impact on various deals, tax updates on similar lines, etc.
