As part of the Light Engineering & Specialty Chemicals business, Commercial Lending vertical at Bajaj Finance Limited, this position will be responsible to add new customers (dealers of large manufacturers in lite engineering and specialty chemicals segment) and build loan book. The person should have prior experience in the Commercial Lending / Business Lending / Channel Finance space.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Will be responsible initially for building loan portfolio at the dealer level in the Light Engineering and Specialty Chemicals Segment lending business in respective region by acquiring new clients (dealers) as well as managing existing relationships.
- He/she shall report into the Regional Sales Manager. Shall be responsible for end to end sales delivery of a financing solution.
- Shall also assist and participate in prospecting Light Engineering and Specialty Chemicals segment clients under the direct supervision and guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.
- Will be responsible for revenue delivery on (fee and Interest Income) through focused efforts around a) New Client Acquisition numbers, volume and profitability, b) Existing Customers Wallet Penetration and c) Competency Metrics.
- Will be expected to actively participate and contribute towards new client on boarding, market feedback, market scoping etc.
- Collaborate closely with other product teams like Insurance services to cross sell insurance and other similar products to customers.
Experience and Expertise :
Years of Experience (Minimum & Maximum) : 3 or more years of experience. Preference will be given to Business Development / Sales / Relationship professionals from the Business Lending, SME, Channel Finance, Commercial Banking teams of Pvt Sector Banks or MNC Banks or Leading NBFCs who are focused on Asset products.
Qualification / Specialization : A Chartered Accountant or Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration or Commerce.
Expertise / Skills : The candidate should be skilled at developing & deepening client relationships. He/she should possess proven client relationship skills, understanding of typical business flows, product knowledge, strong execution and multi-tasking skills. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to consistently deliver against planned targets.
