BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd. supports business process, information technology and knowledge process across Consumer Banking, including Card and Home Loans, Legacy Asset Servicing, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Wealth and Investment Management lines of business at Bank of America.

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description

Equity Linked Technology (ELT) supports the Global Equity Linked Products business within BAML- s Global Markets and Investment Banking group. At its core is a diverse, globally distributed risk management and trading platform that addresses derivatives business needs across Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The team provides innovative solutions to speed equity derivatives trading, facilitate sales and assess risk and P&L in a supportable, scalable and efficient manner. Business activities supported include product pricing and creation, trade booking, risk and P&L computations, scenario valuations and post-trade processing.

The role entails one to take up the ownership of few of the application/s within the ELT space and work closely with Business Users, Analytics and various Technology teams to develop correct and optimal solutions for the same.

The work involves both developing applications from scratch as well as making enhancements to existing ones. It requires the ideal candidate to be passionate about and hands-on with technology. It will involve active participations in the system design, architecture along with its implementation, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

The candidate would be working on the development of front office applications using cutting edge technology. The candidate would be interacting with Traders / Quants teams at other locations on a regular basis.

Requirements

Must Have:

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in building global enterprise applications using Core Java/J2EE and allied technologies/frameworks. Willingness / flexibility to work on other technologies including, but not limited to, Python.

- Very strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task effectively, flair for software architecture and programming and interest in / ability to grasp investment banking concepts.

- Self-starter and a strong drive to self-learn.

- Strong understanding of programming concepts and hands-on experience in OO design / multi-threading / data structures / common algorithms / design patterns / database.

Good to have:

- B.E./B.Tech with good academic scores from top-tier colleges/universities.

- Worked in top-tier companies.

- Relevant work experience in Investment Banking domain.

- Experience on Python.
