Responsibilities :

- The role is responsible from product inception to successful Business case realization (End to End Program delivery).

- Need to work closely with cross-functional teams across organization as relevant to successful delivery of the program

- Proficient in Stakeholder Management. Able to articulate and present the problem accompanied with solution transparently to help arrive at stakeholder consensus.

- Catalyst in transforming organizational culture to bring in agility and predictability in terms of delivery. Nurturing and empowering teams to orient them to be Self-performing and deliver exceptional business values.

This role may play a number of different roles in actual practice :

- At an enterprise level, leading and managing several large concurrent high visibility projects, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple Agile teams and/or requiring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams

- At a team level, playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, technology, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team

- In situations that require a hybrid Agile approach, using good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve the project goals within designated project constraints

In performing these roles, the EPM will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an agile development approach in the right proportions and with the appropriate level of planning.

Critical Targets to meet :

- Transformation and standardization of agile practices

- Positive Revenue impact to top line of the business group through New product, Product Sustenance and Enablement

- Phase gate compliance and continuous improvement of cycle time

- Transparency and metrics oriented Program management

Skill Set and Qualifications Required :

- Graduate or Postgraduate Engineering degree with 15-20 Yrs. of experience

- 8 - 10 yrs in product program management (preferable Software products and agile environment)

- 7- 10 yrs in Software/Hardware or firmware development

- Experience in managing culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams.

- Proven track record of managing complex program and product deliveries creating incremental revenue impact greater than 30-40 million USD

- Should have handled cross functional team sizes greater than 15-20 people

- Demonstrates agility and alacrity in strategy, execution and decisions.

Certifications :

- PMI-ACP or CSM and CSPO (Well versed with SAFE or equivalent agile frameworks)

- PMP or IPMA or PRINCE certified Project manager and should have mastered the art of project/program management (planning, risk mgmt., stakeholder mgmt., coaching, team collaboration etc)

- Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Greenhopper, Rally, or equivalent, Microsoft Project, Version mgmt., CI, CD, Visio, and all Office Tools

- Ability to graciously negotiate any tough situation and have a structured problem solving approach

- Proven track record of matrix leadership

Solid understanding of :

- Software and electronics development life cycle models

- Cloud, IOT, Data analytics

- UI Technologies

- Embedded Firmware

- Preferable to have security and fire domain knowledge
