Axis Bank - Manager/Senior Manager - Risk Analytics

Job Description:

The person would be a part of the Risk Analytics team primarily focusing on identifying and controlling/mitigating credit risk across retail lending portfolio, within BIU team

The candidate is required to:

- Work closely with key stakeholders (credit, policy and business team) and build data driven risk strategy for the lending products

- Provide insights on key risk performance metrics and identify opportunities to mitigate and control risk

- Creating risk insights by performing root cause analysis using decision trees

- Creating valuation models for all lending products for coming up with early risk to late risk multipliers

- Creating /improving risk variables that can enhance the prediction capability on defaulting customers

- Conduct other adhoc analyses as needed

Academic Qualification & Skill Sets required:

- Graduate background in Engineering / Statistics / Economics / Operations Research followed by masters in similar stream or management degree from Top schools

- 2-5 years of analytics experience preferably from Consumer Banking, Financial services, Credit Bureaus

- Should have strong working knowledge of SAS and data mining tools

- Sharp analytical thinker

- Should have good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills

- Tremendous drive towards results. Ability to persist against obstacles and get things done
