Axis Bank - Manager - Bureau Analytics

Job Description:

- The person would be a part of the Bureau strategy team primarily focusing on bureau data, within the BIU team.

- The candidate would be required to take up the complete ownership of bureau data used at the bank.

- The Bureau Strategy team is responsible for the end to end strategy, design/development and performance synthesis of credit bureau data for multiple business units across products and functional areas. The candidate would get a chance to work on multiple such initiatives.

The candidate is required to:

- Research, develop and drive execution of the bank's data strategy

- Work closely with key stakeholders (risk, modeling, collections) to create analytic strategy for the lending products

- Develop comprehensive bureau policy for the retail bank across customer credit life cycle

- Focus on creating infrastructure for unified customer level view across four credit bureaus in India

- Create innovative variables and insights on bureau data

- Provide insights on key performance trends and identify risk/opportunities towards meeting targets

- Conduct other adhoc analyses as needed

- Graduate background in Engineering / Statistics / Economics / Operations Research

- 2-5 years of analytics experience preferably from Consumer Banking, Financial services, Credit Bureaus

- Should have strong working knowledge of SAS and data mining tools

- Sharp analytical thinker

- Should have good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills

- Tremendous drive towards results. Ability to persist against obstacles and get things done.
