Designation : AVP HR (West & south)

Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas Typical Targets and Measures

Impact on the Business / Function

- Ensure preparation and approval of manpower plan (AOP and ROP) through interaction with Finance, function heads and custodian of organization structures including grades and designations.

- Attract and retain talent through innovative employee value proposition and through strategic partnerships.

- Competency based hiring including Leadership hiring.

- Monitor, measure and improve people performance through goal setting and alignment, performance reviews and PIP.

- Represent HR to business and participate in various HR forums to showcase HR.

- Market intelligence & Bench-marking. Prepare and share analytics with business to aid in decision making. Support & advice business leaders on critical matters related to HR which will impact business. (Business Models, SFM, Career Progression and Growth) etc..

- Design & Develop the competency framework.

- Approved plan and TAT

Customers / Stakeholders

- Understand and address people issues through continuous interaction with business and people through Open houses/ town halls/ business meeting and interventions.

- Manage and deliver employment engagement initiatives, Employee Value Proposition and other organization development initiatives, including providing support to Business leaders on action planning to bridge gaps in GPS and GPTW survey reports

- Continuously create and manage employee Recognition platforms

- Support designing HR polices and periodic reviews of the policies.

- Grievance Management, Investigation on audit observations related to HR matters.

- Socializing the CHOICe manifesto

- Creating Platform for and addressing people issues identified through various forums.

- Employee Participation in Recognition platforms. Employee Value Proposition.

- Benchmark & Drive Best Practices

Leadership & Teamwork

- Manage people careers through promotions, IJPs, inter group talent movement.

- Identify critical talent, retain them and help in development through interaction with business and HR.

- No. of IJP movements and accuracy

- Critical talent retention/ leadership pipeline.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

- Ensure design and implementation of systems and processes especially in areas of Recruitment and Performance management for accuracy and speed.

- Vendor Management. Initiatives on cost control by implementation of innovative commercials with Vendors.

- Ensure smooth people movements through transfers and relocations and also ensure disciplinary action as per policy.

- Defend CHOICe before government labour machinery, labour courts (in conjunction with legal) on issues relating to statutory labour matters.
