Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and co-ordinate annual reviews of Policy and Procedure across various risk functions, providing expert guidance and discussing directly with staff from those functions including the Global functional heads.
- Preparation of annual review summaries/checklists for senior committees and presentation of same where required.
- Act as key point of contact for queries related to Risk Management policy and procedure as they should be written from a risk management functional perspective.
- Managing a comprehensive library of Policy and Procedure back-up documentation needed to answer routine queries and evidence the performance of robust P&P reviews and management.
- Support the Global Functional Risk Policy Framework Head in the performance of his/her duties, standing in for that person when absent.
Key Skills :-
- 8-12 years- experience within Banking in an internal audit / risk management / control function.
- Experience in a Policy writing role in Banking.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience overhauling or remediating Policy documents/frameworks.
- Understanding of prudential regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable discussing Policy issues with and presenting to senior management
Professional qualification (accounting, auditing or legal).
- Strong writing skills.
- Self-starter keen to add value and improve things generally and an ability to manage deliverables under various deadlines
