AVP - Research & Analytics - Consumer Healthcare

- Role would be focused as a Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager; responsible to manage work leveraging all core methodologies and techniques as well as new/emerging approaches to deliver strategic and actionable research findings for clients across Consumer Healthcare organisation

- Develop and deliver the end 2 end service lines - competitive intelligence, scientific intelligence, market intelligence; identify other service lines that can be aligned to support other R&D functions

- Leverage business knowledge - Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare domain with a business understanding of fast moving consumer goods sector as well

- Drive business growth - Build on strong relationships and reputation with existing clients to generate new briefs and drive opportunities to cross-sell within the business

Desired Skills & Experience :

- 10 + years of experience in secondary research including business and scientific research

- Strong understanding of consumer healthcare research methodologies; competitive landscape as well as industry dynamics; with the ability to assimilate and simplify data and concepts effectively

- Proven track record of leading a portfolio of client relationships and overall business development efforts in a client services environment

- Excellent at communicating with clients; ability to generate new thinking, ideas, and insights that add value to client relationships and help sustain competitive advantage

- Adept at understanding client problems and business objectives and selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques

- Experience in analysis and interpretation of data, ability to interpret data, write reports, and provide actionable recommendations

- Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire employees, stakeholders, and clients

- Knowledge of the scientific and competitive intelligence domain and experience as a desk researcher including historical use of data sources such as Mintel, Datamonitor, Euromonitor, Factiva, Patent Information Sources, Scientific Publications, Clinical Trial Publications, Medical Information sources such as Medline and Embase, etc

- Expert qualitative practitioner with ability to significantly improve performance of junior colleagues as well as peers

- Expertise in achieving commercial success through a balance of leadership and collaboration

- Strong managerial judgment (Objectives, People, and Reputation); experience operating with a - Big Picture- management style
