Job Description - Our client is a leading provider of high end research, analytics and other customised financial services to a global client base of corporates, investment banks, PE/VCs, with offices in Mumbai, London and New York.

They are currently looking for a person to join their Professional Development Team as an AVP, identifying gaps in the talent pool, analysing KRAs at individual and team level and drive strategic decision making for the company.

Description

Reporting to the SVP, you will be responsible for:

- Developing a strategic plan to grow and enhance the organisation's talent pool

- Identifying areas of improvement at individual or group level

- Planning new talent on-boarding and development programs

- Maintaining a scientific hiring model and managing the productivity tools

- Maintaining department and designation level KRA's and tracking the performance

- Liaising with other departments to create systems/modules for improving operational efficiency

- Assisting the SVP in various strategic initiatives

Profile

You will be a finance or a strategy/consulting professional with 5 to 8 years of experience in the financial services sector and relevant experience in talent management. You should also have experience in using data and various other scientific methods to analyse the talent pool and then come up with KRAs and development plan.

In depth knowledge of the business functions, financial concepts and key processes is preferred. Team management experience, attention to detail along with a proactive attitude are the qualities that will differentiate the successful candidate.
