Position/Designation : Associate Vice President – Legal  Department : Legal  Location : Corporate Office (Mumbai) 	 Reports To : Vice President - Legal  Job Purpose:  - To handle all legal responsibilities of the company including Financing, Mergers and Acquisitions, Procurement, Customer related documentation etc., for Indian and UK operations.  Job Duties and Responsibilities:  - Drafting and negotiation of contracts of all nature related to financing, Procurement, Mergers and Acquisitions and Customers.  - Responding to legal notices/correspondence related to point # 1 above.  - Apply structured problem solving skills in either roles to create value for the organization.  - Managing team members working with you and ensuring their growth and development.  Interactions:  - Internal Interactions: All departments  - External Interactions: Law firms in India and UK  Job Requirements:  Educational Qualification: LLB/ LLM from NLS / ILS  Work Experience: 8 to 10 years experience in leading law firms  Key Competencies:  - Strong conceptual understanding of contract law & formulation.  - Understanding of relevant Indian & UK law (including FEMA, Companies Act)  - Strong analytical skills with attention to details  - Commercial Acumen  - Out of the box thinker with excellent problem solving skills  - Ability to take quick decisions in time crunched situations  - Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate group decisions  - Looking from Law / Legal firms  - Interest in Real Estate
