AVP - Legal - NBFC

Our Client :

A non-banking financial company focused on investing in corporate credit in India through straight loans, listed NCDs or assignment/purchase of loans.

As part of its expansion plans, the company is looking to hire a lawyer with 5-8 years of experience in corporate credit and commercial lending. The candidate should have reasonable experience with a reputed bank, non-banking financial company, other commercial lender or a reputed law firm who are handling real estate sector.

Major KRAs :

- Ability to steward transactions independently from inception to execution

- Participating in transaction approval process at the Credit Committee

- Drafting of documentation and assisting in compliance

- Work closely with other parts of the investment team in executing and managing investments

- Working together with and managing third party intermediary relationships

- Co-coordinating with investee companies on covenants, to-dos etc

- Restructurings

- Downside scenario analysis and planning.

Ideal Candidate :

- 5-8 years of experience in corporate credit and commercial lending.

- The candidate should have reasonable experience with a reputed bank, non-banking financial company, other commercial lender or a reputed law firm.

- Real estate sector experience preferred.
