Accountable for detailed needs analysis and design of complex learning programmes and solutions including pivotal role learning frameworks and related learning architecture to facilitate performance, professional development and continuous learning of employees across the Bank

- Apply in-depth Learning design expertise to develop learning solutions that effectively and efficiently address the most critical capability development needs and workplace performance improvement opportunities in the business, working in partnership with colleagues in Learning and subject matter experts in the business. There will be an emphasis on the 4 - organisation-wide capability- areas (or horizontals):

Leadership and Management (inc induction)

Banking Products

Client Engagement, Sales and Professional Skills

Risk and Compliance

- Maintain and continuously improve Learning Solutions, as required

Analyse learning needs in depth, define learning objectives and develop new Learning frameworks, programmes / solutions (or improve existing ones) to achieve those objectives

- Work closely with Learning Solutions team, Learning Product Heads, Heads of Learning and Regional T&L to design, develop and evaluate appropriately blended learning solutions that will have a positive impact on performance

- Leverage innovative learning methods, channels (with reference to the external market) and technology to create compelling, engaging and effective blended learning

- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders including Learning Business/Function and Product Heads, Regional Academies, Learning Technology and LSSC to deliver on design, development, implementation and evaluation

- Develop assessment approaches to demonstrate skills and competence, where appropriate

- Work (closely with external partners where needed) to design and develop learning solutions to time, cost and quality

- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes and provide recommendations for improvement

- Research and contribute to the selection of external partners who can provide specific expertise and/or additional capacity (as appropriate) in order to address high priority needs

- Follow a rigorous approach (e.g. development methodology, project documentation) to assure quality

- Conduct preparation sessions (e.g. - train the trainer- for facilitators, solution briefings for co-ordinators) to support successful implementation where required
