Designation: AVP - HR Business Partner
Role Description:
The qualified candidate is expected to proactively provide HR generalist leadership and support to Top management team based in Bangalore. The individual's responsibilities include a wide gamut of HR services including advice/direction to the management team on HR policy, performance management, organizational development, team building and employee relations matters; this will involve making or recommending appropriate decisions consistent with the strategic direction of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the AVP HR, the qualified person is expected to monitor daily HR operations of the company and should be able to resolve day- to- day issues using well- defined or at times generally defined processes.
- Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Strategic management support: ensure that HR strategy and activities are aligned with and help deliver business goals.
- Work with the leadership and management team to design and deliver appropriate HR interventions to build a strong, cohesive team or any other desired business results; hence have a strong interest and ability in developing business acumen.
- Consultative Role working with Leadership Team and Professional staff for defining HR framework, policies, procedures and implementation of programs. He/She is expected to recommend modifications to operating policies based on industry best practices, organizational needs and/or legal requirements prevailing in the country.
- Create the environment which fosters employee involvement and diversity.
- As the leader for Human Resources, it is imperative that the incumbent have superior communication abilities which includes both verbal as well as written.
Desired Profile:
- 10 - 14 years of progressive experience in human resources, employee relations and leadership development
- MBA or advanced degree in HR from Premier Institutes only(2002/03/04 Batches preferred)
- Candidates from Retail/e-commerce/FMCG domains are preferred
- Experience in business processes and objectives and partnering with senior management to achieve overall business objectives and goals
- Team player with strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills, enabling individual to communicate directly and diplomatically with all levels of employees
- Highly analytical and logical thinker and problem solver
- Proven attention to detail; extremely organized with solid follow up skills
- Sense of urgency and highly flexible
- Strong project and time management skills with ability to multi- task and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to influence a wide audience within the organization in a positive and effective manner
- Start- up experience is plus
