AVP/Head - Solar Power Plant

- To lead Renewables vertical in identifying, evaluating and exploring opportunities for developing renewable assets for the company.

- To conduct techno-commercial evaluation and feasibility studies and advising the management for establishing and expanding renewable portfolio.

- To monitor and ensure smooth operation of the existing renewable assets of the company and take P&L responsibility for the operating renewable assets of the company.

- To ensure establishment of contacts and networking with potential business partners and customers at all potential locations and to ensure the business closures with respect to establishment of renewable assets.

- To lead comprehensive evaluation of business opportunities, completion of feasibility studies for new projects and take part in bidding process by timely submission of bids in coordination with Legal, Commercial and Finance teams.

- To lead, research, collaborate and present new investment opportunities for wind and solar based power plants to management.

- Keep track of Indian power sector regulatory changes and studies on their effect on the present and future business scenarios of the company and to appraise the management.

Skills & Knowledge

- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with MBA.

- Relevant & Total years of Experience: 20 to 25 years of experience in the power sector domain specifically in renewable domain.

- High level of communication skills, analytical skills, networking skills and ability to understand financial, commercial and regulatory framework. Strong commercial acumen.

Candidate Requirements

- 20-25 years of experience with significant experience in the Renewable Power Sector

- Thorough knowledge of the energy sector and power business including regulatory

- Hands on experience in Financial aspects and commercial aspects

- Expertise in Business Development activities

- Should be willing to travel extensively to overseas locations and stay out of home country for long periods.
