POSITION: AVP / GM MEDIA MANAGEMENT
EXPERIENCE: 8 - 10 years
PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post graduation from reputed media/communication management institutes (MICA, SCMHRD, SIBM, NMIMS, etc.)
- Has worked with large reputed media agencies (GroupM, Madison, Starcom, Carat, Lodestar) and / or in a similar capacity with other reputed organizations in the FMCG / consumer durables space
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
- Should have prior and sound experience in Media management, including out-of-home and digital media, in domestic and international markets
- Working across traditional media and emerging platforms (digital, mobile, etc.)
- Managing a media budget of Rs. 80 - 100 cr.
CURRENT PROFILE SHOULD REFLECT THE FOLLOWING:
1. AGENCY MANAGEMENT:
- Managing agency relationships to ensure deliverables are met in terms of campaign planning and implementation
- Briefing, setting campaign objectives, media planning / buying, post campaign evaluation and analysis
- Benchmarking and negotiation
- Competitive scanning and reporting
2. INTERNAL STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:
- Work closely with various divisions of the Marketing team to deliver on brand and marketing objectives in a holistic way
- Bringing to the table opportunities in line with brand objectives
3. DRIVE STRATEGIC DIRECTION:
- Use of consumer insights to deliver marketing value in communication planning
- A data-based and analytical approach to defining key market communication strategies
4. DRIVE INNOVATION:
- Should have worked on innovative media campaigns including on-ground activation, content integration, print innovations, co-branded movie promotions, mobile marketing, etc. resulting in disproportional brand impact
