AVP - Global Markets/Reference Data Ops - BPO

AVP Global Markets / Global Reference Data Operations for an MNC Banking BPO in Bangalore.

Role Purpose :

- To manage the Operational activities/challenges of Account Maintenance processes within Global Market Operations (GMO), while ensuring resources match workloads to provide cost effective processing to deliver an efficient, high quality service within Service Level Agreements and to pre- determined critical timelines. Also ensuring that Compliance and Operational risk are identified, monitored, escalated and managed effectively.

- In summary the role is key in supporting the Functional head in all Strategic and tactical initiatives- The role is also key in terms of succession planning for the Vice President Operations role in each region.
Account Maintenance is functionally responsible for creating Trading Account, maintaining Standard Settlement Instructions and Client static data maintenance across Global Markets product, Securities Services, Prime Services, FX Prime Brokerage, Funds and Strategic Clients groups across various geographic locations.

- The current Account Maintenance model is a global one and the Run The Bank staff are split between Bangalore and Kuala Lumpur to provide full business resiliency as this function has been designated business critical.

Experience & Skills :

- MBA with 10+ years of work experience with 5+ years in Global Markets / Global Reference Data Operations / Client Onboarding Operations. Strong leadership skills evidenced by achievement of objectives together with a track record of ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people.

- Proven experience of successfully managing and developing a team of both managers and staff across a diverse range of processes, with an ability to provide direction and motivation in an ever changing environment.

- Strong verbal communication and business communication skills

- Proven record in building and maintaining business relationships and a strong customer service drive

- Excellent analytical skills and commercial acumen.

- Proven process management, Production management skills, improvement and service management Skills.

- Evidence of active participation in establishing and managing effective Operational Risk.

- Evidence of strategy design and implementation with sound understanding of internal / external business environment

- Experience in Global Reference Data Operations or Global Market Operations.
