- Responsible for actively managing the FXRC Derivatives Middle Office team in UK for accurate trade validation of all derivative transactions for UK   - To ensure timely and accurate validation of FXRC Derivatives (including RFX and AAG) trade capture against the source documents and to ensure completeness of day’s trading activity in accordance with process controls and procedures   - To perform event monitoring like options expires and barriers triggered and to ensure action is taken by the traders.   - To assist the trader in resolution of issues arising from exception events like failed trades, reconciliation breaks etc.   - Ensuring the Middle office globally meets its objectives  - Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of operational risk and in implementation and management of OR within the Unit.   - Actively manage, train and develop the existing team in UK.  - Build up the team profile with the front office derivative and RFX business.  - Coordinate with all areas in order to facilitate permanent resolutions for problems wherever possible. Liaise with the FO and advice on improved booking methods to ensure downstream processes are more efficient.  - Be proactive in the sign off of PPGs, and ensure approved PPGs and CAs are in place for new deals traded.  - Ensure that the team performs timely and accurate validation of trade capture against the source documents and to ensure completeness of day’s trading activity.  - Ensure that the team strictly enforces controls whereby source documentation does not meet our requirements.  - Escalation of all exceptions, risks and KCS / Phoenix breaks.  - Provide support to the global derivatives business (primary focus on UK).  - Attend to deal booking related queries and investigations.  - Highlight any discrepancies to the Front Office, relevant downstream departments and superiors.  - Review daily escalations &close out issues in a timely fashion.  - Participate in evaluating system enhancements, UATs and projects as required.  - Provide support to other Middle Office sites.  - Constant review of DOIs to ensure complete and accurate recording of procedures.  - Ensure monthly reporting completed in a timely manner.  - Ensure audit issues addressed.  - Act as OR liaison point for the section.
