Job Title : AVP -Finance   Location : Gurgaon   Reports to : CEO  Job Summary:   The role will be responsible for the complete finance & accounting operations activities for the entity. This is a people manager role and the role shall be leading a team of finance professionals in driving strong accounting, financial and internal control activities.   Primary Duties & Responsibilities   - Setting up internal control systems, strong compliance framework and driving risk mitigation actions to ensure no surprise environment.   - Handling internal audits, performing balance sheet control reviews and statutory audits.   - Supervise the month end closing process and ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting and books closing   - Responsible for taxation related activities.  - Perform a detailed financial review every month and provide meaningful analytical reports to management for decision support   - Ensures that working capital is managed well though efficient credit control on customers receivable and timely payment to the vendors   - Efficient tax planning from direct & indirect tax perspective, proactively meeting the tax & regulatory compliance requirements and handling of direct and indirect tax assessments with external support   - Strengthen the internal control environment based on risk control matrix and and ensure management testing of controls as per IFCOR requirements   - Manage the performance of the team members and be a coach and mentor for the team. Create development plan for the team members.   - Support on preparation of Annual Budget or Operating plan for the company   Minimum Job Requirements :   Educational Qualification -Qualified Chartered Accountant/ ICWA is a must.   Experience - 10 to 12 years (at least 8 years post qualification)   Industry - Media  Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required to competently perform the job) -   - Should have good analytical skills to provide meaningful analytics for business support   - Should have knowledge of IGAAP/IFRS  - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations   - Balances team and individual responsibilities   - Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit   - Puts success of team above own interests; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives;   - Supports everyone's efforts to succeed   - Recognizes accomplishments of other team members.
