I am Hiring AVP- Solution Manager /Enterprise Architect.   Key Roles & Responsibilities  - Key contributor or owner in defining and improving enterprise governance practices. Advocate data security standards, policies, and procedures.  - Participate in ARB: review solution architecture to ensure the solutions are in compliance with architecture standards and provide appropriate levels of performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency  - Set strategic directions for Enterprise Architecture.  - Partner with technology leaders and technology architects to define/refine strategy and roadmap.  - Define strategy, reference architectures, and EA roadmaps.  - Partner with LOB teams in designing, specifying and selecting standards, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.  - Establish and maintain Enterprise Architecture Principles.  - Provide direction for designing solutions aligned to EA Principles.   Leadership Qualities  - Strong strategic thinker and ability to translate enterprise architecture vision into actionable roadmaps  - A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities  - Provide thought leadership in the evolution of the EA function, working collaboratively with peers and colleagues in business and IT organizations  - Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including written and verbal communication as well as presentation  - Great listener and ability to build partnerships across business and IT divisions to bring insights on the big pictures and architectural directions   - Ability to abstract real world scenarios into easy to understand models.  - Ability to make decisions in situations of ambiguity and the absence of complete facts  - Ability to identify, prioritize and weigh different options and to recommend a value-add solution.  - Ability to balance what is - right- vs. what is - realistic-, and stay focused.  Shared Responsibilities   - Responsible for the architecture principles and roadmaps in collaboration with the IT delivery teams  - Provide guidance and thought leadership to solutions team so that solutions are built in line with Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and guidelines  - Lead the creation of relevant and meaningful architecture roadmaps, concepts, and other deliverables that enables the overall business for better performance   - Evaluate and participate in new technology evaluation processes (technology evaluations, proof of concepts) to support the business strategy  - Drive ongoing optimization and standardization of the technologies and tools  - Define, assess and evaluate solutions to ensure alignment with IT strategies, target architectures and standards  - Participate as a member of the Architecture Review Board, providing input to architecture decisions  - Participate in the identification of redundant, obsolete, and non-essential technologies to drive systems optimization to better support the objectives of the company.  Key Requirements - Education & Certificates  BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology  Key Requirements - Experience & Skills  - Should have 15-20 years of enterprise consulting experience, including implementation experience with one or more common enterprise software solutions and management of more junior technical resources.  - Minimum of 15 years of experience in designing deployment architectures.  - 15+ years' experience with 6-8 years of experience gained within insurance or consulting firms; in depth knowledge of insurance industry, of technology and of process  - Experience in defining technical architecture roadmap  - Knowledgeable in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.  - Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity, and provide structure to complex problems
