About Global Sourcing and Supplier Management (GSSM)   GSSM operates within Operations and Technology and is responsible for working in partnership with Business Units and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions for balancing costs against service levels and risks, enabling to achieve its ambition of becoming the bank of choice. GSSM is responsible for:  - Leveraging group wide spend to drive best value from suppliers and delivering value across   - Delivering effective global spend management across Functions, Enterprise wide Technology and major deals  - Setting the framework for Sourcing and Third-Party Supplier Risk Management and supporting the procurement and management of suppliers across in a consistent manner  - Operating a number of procurement systems and processes to support and control buying activities   Overall purpose of role:   - Expertise in contracts drafting and negotiations till final sign off of the contracts   - Manage a team while contributing individually on 3rd party Supplier Control Obligations project  - Manage a team doing contract remediation pertaining to various regulatory requirements and contract compliance to various projects like outsourcing, non-core divestment  - Work as individual contributor to work related to contract remediation and negotiations  - Ensure the priority list of suppliers to be re mediated is worked upon with top urgency and diligence, and that the management team is kept updated on a regular basis with progress, issues /concerns and findings  Key Account abilities  Manage a team of about 5 resources doing the following projects like:  - SCO contract work  The team negotiates the contract schedules pertaining to 3rd party vendor engagement risks. Support is provided to stakeholders across the category sourcing teams, Supplier Relationship managers and Business in doing contract BEAM schedule related work and thereby help increase the bandwidth of stakeholders. Negotiate identified 3rd party risks on 3rd party engagement, discuss with Subject matter Experts in and escalate risks to Accountable Executives, if any and get the contract executed.  - Non-Core Divestment Support  Manage the team to review demerger and divestment related clauses in contract and advise stakeholders on Transition Service agreement consent requirement from vendors. In case, TSA consent is required lead the team to engage with vendors and get the TSA consent.  - Software Right To use project  Software RTU project is to review software license grant provisions and determine whether it can be accessed by Affiliates and 3rd party service providers in various geographies, to provide service to our co.  - Support all similar work pertaining to remediations which come during the course of work. The process to be followed will be shared by the VP contracts.  Stakeholder management and leadership.   - Ensure project completion is communicated to all relevant parties  - Maintain an up to date, accurate Tracker and any other relevant records for governance; maintain data and records as per policy and for audit purposes  - Report progress against the Tracker and any risks, issues and dependencies following the defined processes  - Prepare and present weekly / fortnightly/ monthly status dashboards to senior Stakeholders  - Work on feedbacks from all Stakeholders including Sourcing Category Leads  - Other tasks applicable to the Job Purpose as requested  - Support and contribute to team building and team dynamics through personally demonstrating team attributes  - To be a role-model for the Team in terms of performance/ behaviour/ attitude   - Ensure strict adherence to compliance   - Work with people and able to manage work independently  - Ensure team work to deliver in agreed/ given timelines  - Decision-making and Problem Solving   - Ability to deliver on promise, pro-active, change agent, highest level Integrity and confidentiality   - Rapport building, relationship management, time management, organizing skills, excellent communication skills (written as well as oral), enthusiastic, self-motivated, assertive, result oriented, ability to deal with people, high energy levels and analytical and problem solving skills  - Ability to liaise and build excellent rapport within the organization as well as with suppliers  - Should display excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills with external suppliers and internal stakeholders  - Excellent data management skills and proven ability in producing informative reports and tracking mechanisms  - Ability to handle stress and proficient at time management  - Commitment to quality and ability to manage performance and change  - Proven experience in studying contracts and working with the Legal teams towards remediating the contracts  - Excellent skills with analysing and articulating the work with Legal, Sourcing Manager and Supplier  Person Specification  - Graduate from a reputable Institute or University in legal discipline  - Reasonable years of commercial / procurement / legal experience primarily handling contract reviews and experience in drafting letters and amendments  - Proficient with Windows Operating Systems and excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  - Should be experienced and an expert in being able to produce top quality dashboards for top management covering progress updates, including findings and issues or concerns as may be evident from time to time in PowerPoint and Excel  - Hands-on experience in contract management and legal  - Knowledge and understanding of sourcing/ procurement standard concepts and practices appropriate to the level of the role.  Risk and Control Objective  - Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Framework and internal Policies and Standards.  - Values and Diversity  Our common purpose is to help people achieve their ambitions - in the right way.
