Brief Job Description:  Sales Function - O&G, SRE & Service SBUs:  - Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the organization’s business development and sales activities   - Identifying/sourcing, negotiating and inducting new Principals  - Planning sales strategies for the verticals and executing the sales & marketing plan  - Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plans for verticals against various principals; projecting sales volume and profit for existing and new products.  - Follow-ups on sales proposals and monitoring activities of entire sales team  Operations:  - Direct “line” manager of all the BD members  - Organize and chair meetings, work out budgets and hold goal settings.  - Interacting with Customers & Principals, analyzing their needs and providing optimum solutions  - Act as a bridge between the customer and the Principals  - Manage turnkey projects  P&L Responsibility:  - Responsible for sales revenue   - Determine annual gross-profit plans   - To ensure that timely invoicing to customers and principals is actioned.  - Identify methods of improving profitability of current business  - Formulate future Business Plans.  Reporting & Forecasting:  Internal:  - Responsible for monthly MIS reports for CEO / Management   - Reporting sales results and market information   External:  - Forecasting and reporting to principals as per agreements  Human Resources:  - Responsible and accountable for the team’s performance  - Periodic Review of various employees to ensure business objectives are met  - Recruiting, training and nurturing the employees in the organizational culture/process and work practices  Contracts and Legal:  - Responsible for review and finalizing new agreements and contracts with principals and renewal of all agreements.  - Ensure contracts entered into y the company directly are whetted and approved by legal and protect the company’s interests.  Duties & Responsibilities:  - Client coverage and managing relationships at senior ED level, New Deal Generation  - Global Coordination  - Maintaining a consistent pipeline of opportunities   - Developing strategic sales plan and strategy to achieve assigned goals  - Working closely with the account management to foster a client centric culture and cohesive team environment  - Leading the development of long-term relationships with new and existing clients through careful planning, strategizing, and value creation  Prior Work Experience:  - 15-20 years of experience in Business Development role in service industry  - We prefer incumbent having experience in Oil & Gas Industry; Survey Equipments, Electronics - Navigation & Marine Equipments also okay  Soft-Skills:  - Time management skills; ability to multitask and manage competing priorities  - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation  - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently through effective influencing  - Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and a firm commitment to compliance and quality  Education:  - Must be a Graduate / Post Graduate with Technical Expertise  - Along with a Business Administration degree from a Premier/Renowned Institutions & Universities  Location of the position at Chennai; in case require more information, please do not hesitate to call on or write to +91-9840584455
