TITLE: AVP-Business Analyst

BUSINESS UNIT: COO's Office

REPORTS TO: Chief Administrative Officer - Wealth Management

JOB PURPOSE

- Responsible for managing the Avendus IT applications covering business requirements, vendor identification, testing, training and implementation.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Preparation of business requirements document

- Get sign off of the business requirements documents from users

- Identify software firms which could deliver the business requirements

- Finalise software firm which will implement our requirements

- Prepare project plan, get budgets approved, escalate in case of deviations from plans / budgets, regular updation of project status

- Review the functional specification document prepared by software firm

- Get Sign off of the functional specification document from business users

- Work with Avendus IT Infrastructure team on the system hardware requirements

- Co-ordinate with Software firm for delivery as per timelines defined

- Regular visit to Software firm's site to see the progress of development and give feedback if any corrective action which needs to be taken

- Do the first level of testing, before asking the users to test the application

- Co-ordinate with Software firm for bug fixes, training users and deployment to Production

- Define user profiles, rights, security, system configurations and parameters

- Ongoing interaction with users and software firm for bug fixes, enhancement, etc

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

- Knowledge of Broking, Custody, Wealth Management Industry - Preferable having worked in the back office of wealth management firm, Custodian, Business Analyst at Software firm

- Minimum 10 years of experience

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED (IF ANY)

- Functional communication skills both written and verbal

- Project Management skills
