- Effective management of Costs - allocation / reallocation of investments per business requirements

- Develop commercial models, reports and forecasts which challenge & strengthen business unit decision making processes.

- Benchmark company performance with peers in the Industry as well as relevant AZ Group Companies to provide insights and adoption of good practices

- Closely interact with the various Functions, undertake projects in the areas of Financial planning, Process improvements and Cost Management. Monitor and report on the implementation and progress of these initiatives to SMT on a periodic basis.

- Ensure preparation of the IBR, RBU & Monthly forecasts on a timely basis, by closely coordinating with Strategy planning, Sales and Marketing, Supply chain and all other Functions

- Ensure that mechanisms are in place to monitor achievement of plans by identifying the various financial components and business drivers that are assumed in the strategic / business planning process.

- Monitoring Profit improvement plans across the organisation

- Coordinate closely with the Sales and Marketing and Strategic Planning Groups to understand and articulate current trends, and ensure companies stated strategies are adopted to achieve AZPIL business goals over the medium term.

- Closely work with the Strategy planning group to build business cases for business development initiatives including coordinating with the internal taxation department, manufacturing as well as consultants to understand the cost and tax impacts for both local and global business.

- Maintain stakeholder partnerships

- People management towards efficient and effective utilisation of resources

- Manage new projects as and when it is assigned & Active participation in cross functional company wide projects

- University degree, with Chartered Accountancy / Cost accountancy / MBA Finance

- At least 8 t0 10 years experience in financial field including at least 2-5 years in a managerial position - preferable experience in FMCG / Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing organisation having manufacturing.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and in-depth exposure to ERP - SAP and or Oracle Financials. Range of experience with planning, financial management and project management tools.

- Good on the internal controls, procedures and compliance part
