About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading textile manufacturing companies headquartered in Hong Kong. They are the major suppliers to a lot of leading clothing retail brands worldwide. They have their manufacturing facility in Bangladesh and to support their current growth plans they are looking to hire head of Quality control based out of their factory in Bangladesh.

Job Description

Reporting to the Factory Head-as the Head for Quality Control your responsibilities would include:-

Being in charge of the factory quality control team (currently about 40 people and forecasted to grow to about 90 people by early 2015)

All quality related issues.

Recruitment & training of the QC division team

Maintaining & improving the traffic light control system currently in place.

Implementation of quality related KPIs, SOP and quality division related quality reports to top management.

Definition, training of the QC team regarding the various defects (minor, major, critical) either from the customers or for the company's internal ones.

Monthly follow up and reporting of the factory's AQL level.

Supervision of the factory SOPs

In charge of the factory compliance issue

The Successful Applicant

You have 6-7 years of experience in-In depth quality management in the garment manufacturing industry. You have a good track record in handling well renowned garment brands. Experience in the outerwear quality management would be a strong plus along with experience in Bangladesh & knowledge of Bengali. You have excellent managerial skills and English skills both written & oral.You are keen to details, rigorous & have an analytical mind. .
