Position Title : Associate Vice President - HR and IR

Division /Department : Human Resources

Location : Taloja, Raigad District

Reporting to Executive Vice President - Operations with a dotted line to President - HR at Corporate Office

Principal Accountabilities :

- Performance Management : Implement performance management system rolled out from Corporate HR and guide managers and employees in proper understanding

- Talent Management : Implement talent review process rolled out from Corporate HR and guide and coach managers in their understanding and implementation in the sector

- Align ER, IR and HR services to corporate Goals for enhanced employees productivity

- Professional inputs to Sector / HR Heads in the process of wage negotiations, LTS.

- Harmonious Industrial Relations and productive work Culture

- Formal system of ER MIS in the organization

- Statutory compliance's of Labor statutes

- Professional advice on CSR initiatives to sector and corporate for achieving strategic objectives.

- Aligning office bearers of collectives for creating a sense of responsibility and accountability towards the organization

Major Challenges :

- Employees Relations functions and systems are yet to be institutionalized in the organization.

- The success of Employees Relations functions requires co operation and support from one and all.

- We need to create a work culture of trust and mutual understanding which is a time consuming and long drawn process.

Key Decisions :

- Decisions relating to compliances of various relevant statutes.

- Decisions on matters pertaining to Employees relations within the framework of policies.

- Decisions on effective and timely implementation of new initiatives in HR /ER within the broad Corporate guidelines.

Decisions taken jointly with the peer group.

(Decisions which you take in consultation with your peers and are held responsible and accountable for them as group)

- Decisions during wage negotiation and settlement within the broad guideline and policies on the subject.

- Decision on implementation of Employees Relations strategies within the framework of policies.

- Decisions on issues pertaining to enforcing discipline in workplace.

Decisions escalated to seniors and to be taken along with them

(Decisions in which you give your inputs to higher authority in order to help them take the final decision)

- Corporate Strategies and policies for creating harmony and industrial peace in the organization.

- New initiatives for employee's engagement and empowerment leading to higher moral and motivation.

- Strategies on effective implementation of CSR initiatives to leverage symbiotic relations with local people
