The candidate should have:
- 2 - 5 years of relevant post qualification experience
- Exposure to M&A/PE
- Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations that apply to M&A deals- preferably in FIG sector
- High team orientation
- Good communication both written and oral (including report writing)
- Analytical skills
- Strong Financial modeling skills
- Should be well conversant with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Significant amount of initiative.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Part of end to end transaction.
- Screening and preliminary evaluation of leads and evaluation of key industry and business drivers.
- Preparation of Investor Presentations (IM), Teasers, Financial Models, Valuation Models, and undertaking Company & Industry Research
- Undertaking financial analysis including review and analysis of financial statements, ratio analysis, etc.
- Undertake review and/or preparation of business plan in consultation with the management of the Company to arrive at funding gaps and suggest financing and restructuring solutions
- Suggest structuring solutions to companies
- Provide preliminary assessment of transaction
- Preparing pitch-books
- Undertake research to identify potential opportunities
- Deal structuring and negotiation for investment terms, term sheet, analysis of third party due diligence findings & compliance and legal documentation
