This opening is for the leading tyre manufacturing company of India  Main Purpose of Job  Production planning for Finished products is centrally coordinated at H.O. by SCM. This is a very critical activity for smooth supply chain operations  Main Responsibilities / Job Summary(role and its scope)  Production Planning - Preparing monthly production for Finished goods (CV-Tyre, Tube, Flap & Bladders) to meet the sales requirement- Co-ordination & Follow up with Vendors for supply of Tubes, Flaps & Bladders (OTIF)- Daily Despatch planning for Tubes and Flaps and ensure availability of materials- Production prioritizations and co-ordination with all plant PPC & Vendors- Pro-active approach in planning and ensure no sale losses- Inventory control, Safety stock planning etc.- Procurement Planning for accessories (Moulds and tooling) Develop and circulate the effective MIS in order to maintain updated information system- Process Improvements in Production planning- Quality systems- Maintaining and updating quality systems and procedures, audits- Handling SCM Projects  KPIs (Measurable parameters of the role) & Dimensions (What is the span of the role)  KPI Measure Span  No stock out of Tubes, Flaps & Curing Bladders (Availability of TTF Zero stock out Continuous  Timely Release of Production plan to the plants as per due dates 100% Continuous  Continuous monitoring of production and sales and take corrective steps pro-actively No sale loss Weekly  Inventory control of Tyres in FGS As per norm Continuous  Staff reporting: Direct Reports: NIL  Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)  Knowledge (Technical / Functional)  Good knowledge in MS-Excel & SAP MM/PP & APO Person who has handled Similar function   Skills   Good Analytical and planning skill Excellent communication skill   Trouble shooting skill  Qualifications Engg.
