Job Overview:

The incumbent will work with the client and project teams to support global engagements from India.

Job responsibilities include activities driven towards delivering results - conduct analyses and develop insights, prepare work plans, design processes, support project lead, work directly with client teams and facilitate meetings to enable decision making, organize and write recommendations on client issues, thought leadership and firm building activities.

Position Requirements:

Work Experience:

- Significant experience in improving efficiency and effectiveness of Finance process in large scale organizations- covering accounting & finance.

- Experience with projects improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Record to Report (i.e. Close and Consolidation) process.

- Experience with handling General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets, etc. including Budgeting and Forecasting and Internal and External Reporting is preferred.

- Experience with at least one of the following focus areas: shared service and outsourcing; finance transformation; performance management; financial systems optimization.

Skills:

The incumbent should be able to demonstrate proven and thorough knowledge /success in supporting large multinational teams through the design and implementation.

- Ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Advanced skills in MS Excel / MS Access, MS PowerPoint and MS Word

- Basic understanding of Project Management techniques and tools

Professional & Educational Background and Years of Experience:

- At least one of the following certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (ICWA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

- MBA in Finance from a premium school
