About our Client - Our client is a Global Media giant. Well established in the western hemisphere, they are now turning their attention in India with the intention of growing their footprint. They offer a diverse range of Media touch points and experiences to their consumers and are leaders in their respective categories. They are poised to grow rapidly and need a strong Associate Director -Sales Planning for their Digital venture to fast track the growth for India
Job Description - Reporting to the Sales Head- India, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Responsible for strategic sales planning and forecasting for the OTT business
- Cascading overall sales targets into account plans and execution milestones
- Contribute to development of overall sales strategy and differentiation levers
- Undertake monthly, quarterly and annual revenue planning for the business
- Track competitive intelligence (e.g. innovative campaigns, pricing and client movement)
- Track leads and proposals, as well as status of ad inventory at a central level
- Ensure proposals are in line with agreed upon rate card for inventory + other benefits
- Utilize sales MIS to track campaign achievement at a central level
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Experience in sales planning or digital media sales for video publisher or experience in media planning for a major ad network or agency
- Familiarity with sales planning software and tools (Atlas, MediaVisor from Double Click, iDesk, Salesforce, Adbook, DART or other relevant software)
The Successful Candidate:
- 9+ years (5-6 yrs in digital) - Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and various propositions available, experience in digital sales solutions for a major publisher, campaign experience for digital ad agency or brand management (digital) for a marquee advertiser (e.g. FMCG, telco, financial services)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and communication skills to design and deliver presentations
