The proposals team provides end to end proposals support including professional proposal management and advice, expert proposal coaching, writing services, evaluation and reporting.   - This role is primarily responsible for managing and coaching our priority proposals in particular on major proposals driving one firm proposal best practice and supporting tools and leading on proposals support.   - The jobholder must possess excellent influencing and powerful communication skills in order to be credible and to be able to challenge senior management as well as demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers   - Helps build the Proposals support team  - Manages proposals and priority opportunities to win work across priority service lines   - Consults with key stakeholders at all levels of the business to align proposals support to business strategy and priority areas.  - Acts as the central point of contact for the notification and pipeline management of all large proposals, as well as smaller opportunities; actively follows up leads.  - Acts as a senior proposal support on our major opportunities, working with the lead partners and practice teams and Proposal Panel support from start to finish. Including proposal preparation pre-RFP, throughout the proposal process, at presentation stage (including one-on-one coaching) and post decision.   - Works collaboratively with the market information group to undertake proposal post decision reviews with the client, and make sure that the output is captured and shared appropriately.   - Provides expert advice on proposal support and works with the wider proposal team on the development of one firm proposal best practice and supporting tools aligned with the Pursuits/Velocity methodology.  Skills and experience needed for the role:  - Proven track record in delivering proposal management and bid advice for high value proposals (ideally within a professional services environment).  - Experience of proposal coaching, advising and proposals support with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives.  - Strong knowledge of a Sales and Proposals methodology as well as new and traditional proposals tools.
