About Flipkart Advantage :

Flipkart Advantage (FA) is a joint ownership of warehouse where seller leverages quality processes of warehouse and customer gets uniform experience of quality of product, packaging and speed of delivery.

For Flipkart marketplace, FA is a differentiator for providing rich customer experience, and is core to marketplace success. Thus it is critical for successful and speedy emergence of e-commerce industry in India.

FA is expected to go through lot of innovation across India. Flipkart is looking for someone who has a passion, capabilities to build and operate FA. The incumbent is responsible for leading the effort to build FA network, while establishing the new standards in warehouse industry in the country.

In next 3-4 years, FA will be one be the largest ecommerce capability in India serving - 200 cities inclusive of own and some hybrid models.

Flipkart is looking for a person to play the leadership role in propelling Flipkart and e-commerce to next level. Role :

- Spearhead FA operations

- Co-own key business metrics (sales volume/value, growth, share of business, no of sellers etc)

- Define, track and improve key operational metrics pertaining to FA, pertaining to Seller Onboarding, Warehousing, Inventory Management and Fulfillment

- Continuous performance review of existing partners based on cost, speed and accuracy and taking quick decisions to align end objective of seller and customer delight.

- Own and manage relationships with outsourcing vendors

- Explore and implement new delivery models for speed, seller and customer delight.

- Drive strong system capabilities partnering closely with Technology/Engineering team for FA.

- Develop, mentor and motivate the team spread across locations to achieve higher goals.

- Work closely with enabling/business Partners like HR, Finance, Legal and operations excellence for FA.

Qualifications :

- MBA from tier 1 institute with 9+ years of operational experience preferably in the B2C sector

- Degree or professional qualification in engineering or quantitative discipline

Key Areas of Experience :

- Proven operational experience (e.g. sales/business operations, supply chain) with large B2C companies (online, FMCG, durables etc) in the Indian market

- Consulting profiles can also apply, but have to show strong operational tilt
