Our client is a leading PR Agency and they need to fill the following position asap.  Position : Associate Director - Media Relations  Education : Post Graduation - Public Relations, Journalism, Management and Communications  Experience : 12 - 18 years (minimum 8 years in PR agency)  Location : Delhi  Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience  Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :  - Candidate will manage relationships with media across the board in key centers - Delhi & NCR & other centers in North zone.   - Bring in deep rooted relationships with editor level and senior level correspondents across print and electronic (language and English) media and leverage them to Champion improved media delivery for clients, Manage crisis situations, Garner intelligence in terms of media movements, shift in editorial stance, alignment of media with various causes/objectives / corporate/ political entities.   - Build and maintain media repository across Delhi & NCR and other key centers in North including maintaining profiles of editors and correspondents across the media landscape. Increase reach and engagement depth beyond current set of relationships both with the media houses as well as the journalists/editors  - Mentor the National Network Team and regional media team to assist the client servicing teams as well as clients of the agency with Up to date media information, Strong media relationships for better media delivery,   - Ability to advise clients as well CST on what works with the media and provide alternatives for things that don't work. Reviewing team performance and progress.   - Be part of the client meetings as a senior interface to advise clients on media strategies and also be able to manage client expectations.   - Work closely with client servicing teams of other centres to provide current and meaningful media insights and research for formulating client activity plans, crisis and strategy notes and pitch presentations.   - Monthly Media Training/ update modules for media team as well as client servicing teams.   - Provide daily/ weekly update notes on media trends.
