Associate Director-Master Plan Projects

Job Purpose :

- To coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and overall project management activities so as to complete the project on schedule, within budget and as per set standards. Provide support as and when required by operations in related areas.

Job Outline :

- The jobholder performs a set of key responsibilities which leads to on time completion of the projects within the planned budget.

- The job holder needs to handle the design, construction and commission of the new facility. S/he needs to make necessary changes in consultation with the Head- MPP to meet the changing needs and requirements.

- S/he needs to minimize the risk and conduct the smooth functioning of all the assigned projects. The incumbent needs to seek feedback from the end user and consider the same in design of the new projects after conducting feasibility study of the same.

- The job holder needs to handle the cost element associate with the projects on an ongoing basis without compromising on the quality and by identifying the appropriate items in the Bill of Quantities.

- S/he needs to identify the resources needed and assign individual responsibilities accordingly. To ensure completion of the projects on the target dates, the incumbent needs to continuously recognize and take corrective actions so that the project is always on track.

- Further S/he needs to identify the critical issues & constraints to follow up with all the concerned to enable decisions on the issues pending and push towards execution of the same.

- S/he needs to have technical discussion with various agencies like contractors, PMC and design consultants. S/he needs to also monitor and provide the required technical information to the Statutory Auditors for getting the statutory approvals from them.
