Designation: Associate Director - Finance  Reports to: Senior Director - Finance  Qualification: Chartered Accountant   Compensation: 21l + 23l (F) + 2l - 3l(V)  Work experience:   No. of years: Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in relevant field  Industry: Open to Industry (Listed & MNCs), Broadcasting would be preferable.  Previous Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience at a managerial level spanning areas of Finance, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Payables Management & Secretarial Compliances.  Location: Mumbai  Core Responsibilities:  - Formulating budgets, forecasts and conducting variance analysis  - Designing and implementing accounting systems, internal controls & procedures, supervising the timely & accurate preparation of statutory books of accounts as per Indian GAAP/ IFRS and financial statements  - Implementing systems, policies & procedures in consultation with top management to facilitate internal financial control.  - Ensuring Tax & Secretarial Compliances  - Ensuring that all payments are made to suppliers within the stipulated time frame and managing accounts payable within the pre-set parameters.  - Managing internal treasury functions within the group companies, co-ordinating with bank, managing banking relation, etc.   - Managing Statutory Audit, Internal Audits, Sox Audits, etc.  Competencies Required:  - Possess good knowledge of Accounting as per IGAAP/IFRS, handling of Tax Matters, Payables Management and Audits.  - Possess sound knowledge of Service tax & TDS laws, etc.  - Sound analytical skills, inter-personal skills and ability to lead and motivate  - Is pro-active, adaptable and self-starter with passion for excellence  - Result oriented and demonstrate solid business sense  - Strong Team Player  - Excellent communicator - good written and spoken English  - Strong presentation and computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills   - Knowledge and experience in using SAP FI Module  Essential Competencies:   - Working with people  - Adhering to principles and values  - Analyzing  - Learning and researching  Desirable Competencies:  - Formulating strategies and concepts  - Planning and organizing  - Delivering results and meeting customer expectations  - Adapting and responding to change
